Pricing and Conclusions

Pricing

The pricing for the XCLIO Stable Power 1000W Power Supply as of May 2007 is $359.99.

Cost per watt. As you can see the average cost per watt is $0.36, which is not bad.

Conclusions

During my testing, the XCLIO Stable Power 1000W Power Supply was very stable and did not have any failures or other performance issues.
The Stable Power 1000W has both stability and silence, features active PFC and 80% efficiency. It has a nice packaging and whooping 70A combined on two +12V rails.

I have noticed that +12v rails were just below 12v, but still well within an acceptable range. No fluctuations were recorded on EPS 12V, Main ATX (+12v and +3.3V).

Strengths:
  -   Solid, stable voltages
  -   Two +12V rails totaling 70W
  -   Silent
  -   Active PFC
  -   NVIDIA Quad-SLI Ready
  -   Compact

Weaknesses:
  -   Single floppy connector
  -   Cables not fully sleeved
  -   No cable grommet on case

Given the solid performance, and features like Active PFC and an 80% efficiency, I award the XCLIO Stable Power 1000W Power Supply the eXtreme Outer Vision seal of approval.
